At JME Dynamics, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when you may be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This applies regardless of any timeframe we set for change-of-mind returns.
Change of Mind Returns
- For standard, non-customised products, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is:
- Unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation).
- Custom or personalised items (e.g., 3D printed parts, laser-engraved items, custom designs) cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind, as they are made to order.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with details and photos. Depending on the situation, we will offer:
- A repair,
- A replacement, or
- A refund to your original payment method.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
- Approved refunds will be processed promptly to your original payment method.
- Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to clear the funds.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. To arrange an exchange, please contact us first at [insert email address].
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns.
- If the return is due to our error (e.g., faulty, damaged, or incorrect product), we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service for high-value items.
Services (Consultancy & Repairs)
Fees for consultancy, repair, or training services are generally non-refundable once the service has been delivered. If you are unsatisfied with a service provided, please contact us to discuss a suitable resolution.
